Blog post #6

Blogging in my opinion has been a very fun and new way to express what I have learned in this class in a way that I can share with everyone. One of my favorite parts of the blog has been the ability to share what I have learned and understood from this class weather that be applying or talking about an assignment that we went over in class. Something that has made blogging tough is that some ideas it is harder to blog about and it can seem kind of run rather than me truly sharing something that would be meaningful. Overall Blogging is something that I have enjoyed very much with this class and would like to find a way that maybe I could use it in my classroom when I start teaching down the road.

Generative Ai was actually very useful when I asked it to help me make a lesson plan. I gave it the topic and the time frame for a lesson on woman's rights and it helped me make a lecture while also giving me videos and books that might also aid the students learning and assignments that I could also hand out. Though they give you video links they did not always work or some cases the websites no longer where there where the few problems that I ran into. Overall I think if used properly that generative Ai can be very helpful for teachers and can take a lot of stress off of there already busy day.

I could see my self using generative Ai as a teacher in many ways once I start teaching. For one as I said in the last paragraph it is pretty good at getting a solid base for a lesson plan down but I could also use it to create questions for a test and quiz that I am making and all I have to do is double check that the questions where went over in class and that they can be completed. There are some ethical concerns as if students see that the teacher is Using Ai they think they can use and they may use it in a way that does not help them. There are many pros and cons but I think the pros outweigh the cons and it can be very useful in class.

  1. I agree with the fact that AI can give solid foundations to a lesson plan. Its scary how useful it is.
