      There were a lot of new skills that I learned while working on assignment 5 that truly allowed me to learn more about how powerpoint works and ways that when I become a teacher I can make my class a lot more interactive. Some new features that I learned or used for the first time was the button feature as most power points I made before this where more informative so I would click and explain on the slide, I also learned more on how to use animations and adding sounds so that the powerpoint is more interactive. One thing that I did not like about the assignment was how for each slide I had to go in and direct them to each button I wish there was a quicker way to go about that.       Distance learning was something that was very pivotal for me during my education in middle school and high school as covid started at the end of my 8th grade year and they had to move everything to zoom and online learning. My freshman year I spent the whole year online as we were waiting for covid conditions to get better. This made me very familiar with online resources and how to do work on a laptop as that was my means of school for a year and a half. I think distance learning can be useful if really needed but at the end of the day face to face is perfect because I think students need the social interaction that schools offer.     OER's can be very useful and helpful as they give teachers a resource as they are free and can be distributed to the class how ever the teacher see's fit to get the class ready for success.       While working on the web design assignment I learned that actually creating your own website is not that hard and that is something that can be very useful as an educator down the road. I used many features such as hyperlinks and certain features such as spacers and headers to make my website user friendly and keep it looking good. Weebly offers plenty of resources that makes making the website super easy and not long to do or learn. Overall I learned a lot from that assignment and I can comfortably say I can make a website when I need to as a teacher.         QR codes offer many forms of ways that people can get information and have it on there device. This is something that I could implement in my classroom in multiple ways weather it be a survey, game or way for my students to gain access to an online reading.       Teacher pages on school websites can be very helpful as they can be a way for the teacher to relay information to students and parents in a quick manner. Most of the information that can be seen publicly is how to get into contact with the teacher and maybe books and novels or things that would be useful to be successful in the class. I think that teacher websites are a good way to keep everyone in the loop and parents a way to stay involved.       Blogging in my opinion has been a very fun and new way to express what I have learned in this class in a way that I can share with everyone. One of my favorite parts of the blog has been the ability to share what I have learned and understood from this class weather that be applying or talking about an assignment that we went over in class. Something that has made blogging tough is that some ideas it is harder to blog about and it can seem kind of run rather than me truly sharing something that would be meaningful.       As AI has progressed its use in school classrooms has become one of many conversations and controversy as teachers don't know the best way to implement it so it can be helpful and not just a tool that students use to cheat. When Ai first became huge in school it had teachers worried as they thought they could ever tell if a student really did the work or not. Since then there has been many Ai detectors that teachers can use so that they can see if only the student used Ai. Now I think there is enough in place for teachers to start discussing ways that students can use Ai in a more helpful way so it can assist them and make the job for the teacher slightly easier.     Social media tools like Pinterest and Instagram have been super helpful when it comes to growing my PLN.            One standard that I noticed has something to do along the lines where the student would have to identify the correct technology to achieve or finish a project. I feel pretty prepared to implement this standard in my class one way or another as I would like to have projects done through the year in my class and different types of technology may be useful and making a project better or stand out compared to the rest. Also with how the world is ever changing technology understanding is becoming more and more vital to secure jobs and teaching students the basic principles and understandings can open many more opportunities for them for jobs down the road.
